 A liberal, leftist, separatist, activist, ecological economist, Buddhist, pacifist somewhat radical but never fanatical.I am a writer, a freedon fighter, a singer, a poet, a lover, a life long learner,a three time burner, a photographer, a gardener, an instigator, and a dirt worshiping tree hugger. I dance between the surreal and sublime, meditating and mediating, educating, and uniting.

I like to inspire and engage in creative dialog that examines what we are doing well, and what we can do better. I believe we are all part of an interconnected web of life, and that every action has a reaction.We are all one, every person, every creature, every blade of grass, every drop of water.

Many people are not familiar with the environmentally friendly alternatives to chemical herbicides. We can learn a lot from the depression era. People became very resourceful out of necessity, and many of the innovations from that era are still very practical today. I have never liked using harsh chemicals either in my home, or in the yard, and always look for a less toxic alternative.

It is amazing how many cancer causing chemicals the average person stores under their kitchen sink, and in their garage. It is no wonder cancer rates have drastically increased over the last couple decades. We have become more and more accepting of poisonous and toxic products that we are told make our life easier.

I am a firm believer that how you spend your money is the most powerful vote you can cast in our capitalistic society. So I choose to support small companies, local stores, and organic products as opposed to large chemical producing international conglomerates.

Having recently returned to school as an adult student my studies are keeping me busy. I have been writing songs and poetry for quite a while, but am fairly green at writing articles. I am enjoying the process and find it inspiring to have an outlet.
